CARBON COPY

Carbon Copy

This piece can be found in Ringelstetter’s personal collection, as it is the third piece in a series he’s been working on for a while now. The first two pieces are ‘Child’s Mind’, where we find a youngster enjoying the world around him in the backwoods, and ‘Gone Fishing’, a relaxing scene about finding your inner peace. ‘Carbon Copy’ takes the story to the next chapter back at grandpa’s cabin, and splits it into two narratives.

On the left side of the painting we see maturity reflected; a character ready to take the necessary steps to help further the evolution of humanity towards a self-sustaining life.

On the right side, the character’s son is reflecting his father’s early life back to him as he plays and explores the marvels of the world around him. The father wants a boundless life for his son, and generously gives out his constant support while the child discovers his own path in life. Stay tuned to see what happens in the fourth scene.
