INDEPENDENCE DAY

“Independence Day” By Nick Ringelstetter

This painting was finished on Independence Day, thus how it received its name. While Nick was working on this piece he knew the holiday was coming up and he began to wonder what all of his favorite characters would be doing for their Fourth of July. This playful and intriguing painting is a description of just that.

This piece is also a reminder of a major turning point in Nick’s career. This piece sold three days after completion, and it was the first time our artist had ever broke even in his career. The sale was so exciting that Nick had to step away for a moment to compose himself, so that he could act as professional as possible, despite the fact that he was overflowing with joy. This was a truly magical day for our artist, as he realized that he could easily manifest his dreams into reality and create his own life, independent from the grind culture so many of us fall victim to.
